Introducing Capability Challenge: A Real Business Scenario, Scored on 7 Dimensions

We built Capability Challenge because résumés can't show how you think under pressure.

A résumé is a list of claims. It tells a recruiter what you say you did, not how you actually reason, communicate, or make decisions when the stakes are real and the clock is running. Interviews help, but a 45-minute conversation with a stranger is a poor proxy for six months of work.

Capability Challenge is our answer to this problem.

How it works

When you start a challenge, you're placed inside a realistic business scenario tailored to your role track — Software Engineer, Product Manager, UX Designer, Data Analyst, Forward Deployed Engineer, Marketing Associate, or Strategy & Operations. You receive a brief from an AI CEO and can exchange messages with an AI colleague throughout.

At some point mid-challenge, an unexpected event lands in your inbox — a change in priority, a constraint you hadn't anticipated, a question from a stakeholder. How you adapt is part of what we measure.

You have a fixed window to submit your deliverables. When time is up, you write a reflection on your process, and our AI scores your work across seven dimensions.

The seven dimensions

Every challenge submission is scored on: Technical Depth, Communication, Leadership, Ownership, Collaboration, Learning Ability, and Execution.

Each dimension gets a score and a written evidence note — a specific quote or observation from your submission that explains the score. This isn't a black-box number. You can see exactly why you scored the way you did and what to work on.

Making your results public

By default, challenge results are private. You can choose to make any result public, at which point it appears on your Morrio profile as a scored card — visible to recruiters and anyone who views your profile. You control this per-challenge and can toggle it back to private anytime.

What comes next

We're adding multi-challenge progression, where your scores across challenges roll up into a track-specific capability profile over time. We're also building recruiter filters around challenge scores so hiring managers can specifically seek out candidates who've completed challenges in their domain.
